Acts 24:21

Except it be for this one voice
Sentence or expression following, which declares his faith about the resurrection; not that he thought or owned that this was an evil in him, but that it was the only one, that any of them, the Jews, a part among them, namely, the Sadducees, could condemn, or judge to be evil in him:

that I cried, standing among them;
whereby they were thrown into confusion and division among themselves: and it was this,

touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you
this day;

19 Mas hĂĄ alguns judeus da provĂ­ncia da Ásia que deveriam estar aqui diante de ti e apresentar acusaçÔes, se Ă© que tĂȘm algo contra mim.
20 Ou os que aqui se acham deveriam declarar que crime encontraram em mim quando fui levado perante o Sinédrio,
21 a nĂŁo ser que tenha sido este: quando me apresentei a eles, bradei: Por causa da ressurreição dos mortos estou sendo julgado hoje diante de vocĂȘs”.
22 EntĂŁo FĂ©lix, que tinha bom conhecimento do Caminho, adiou a causa e disse: “Quando chegar o comandante LĂ­sias, decidirei o caso de vocĂȘs”.
23 E ordenou ao centuriĂŁo que mantivesse Paulo sob custĂłdia, mas que lhe desse certa liberdade e permitisse que os seus amigos o servissem.
