Isaiah 23:14

Howl, ye ships of Tarshish
As in ( Isaiah 23:1 ) . (See Gill on Isaiah 23:1):

for your strength is laid waste;
meaning Tyre, a strong seaport, where their ships were safe, and always found vent for their goods and merchandise; and so it was the strength and support of their country; but was now destroyed, and therefore was matter of lamentation and mourning.

12 e disse: “Você não se alegrará mais,ó cidade de Sidom, virgem derrotada!“Levante-se, atravesse o mar até Chipre;nem lá você terá descanso”.
13 Olhem para a terra dos babilĂ´nios;esse Ă© o povo que nĂŁo existe mais!Os assĂ­rios a deixarampara as criaturas do deserto;ergueram torres de vigia,despojaram suas cidadelase fizeram dela uma ruĂ­na.
14 Pranteiem, vocês, navios de Társis;destruída está a sua fortaleza!
15 Naquele tempo, Tiro será esquecida por setenta anos, o tempo da vida de um rei. Mas, no fim dos setenta anos, acontecerá com Tiro o que diz a canção da prostituta:
16 “Pegue a harpa, vá pela cidade,ó prostituta esquecida;toque a harpa, cante muitas canções,para se lembrarem de você”.
