4 Dali continuava até Azmom, indo até o ribeiro do Egito e terminando no mar. Essa era a fronteira sul deles.[a]

Josué 15:4 Meaning and Commentary

Joshua 15:4

[From thence] it passed towards Azmon, and went out unto the
river of Egypt
In like manner is this coast described, ( Numbers 34:5 ) ; it is called by Jerom F24 Asemona, and said to be a city in the desert, to the south of Judah, dividing Egypt, and the lot of the tribe of Judah, leading to the sea:

and the outgoings of that coast were at the sea;
the Mediterranean sea; or to the west, as the Targum; this was the utmost border of the tribe of Judah this way:

this shall be your south coast;
of the lot that fell to the tribe of Judah.

2 Sua fronteira sul começava na ponta de terra do extremo sul do mar Salgado,
3 passava pelo sul da subida de Acrabim, prosseguia até Zim e daí até o sul de Cades-Barneia. Depois passava por Hezrom, indo até Adar e fazia uma curva em direção a Carca.
4 Dali continuava até Azmom, indo até o ribeiro do Egito e terminando no mar. Essa era a fronteira sul deles.
5 A fronteira oriental era o mar Salgado até a foz do Jordão.A fronteira norte começava na enseada, na foz do Jordão,
6 subia até Bete-Hogla e passava ao norte de Bete-Arabá até a Pedra de Boã, filho de Rúben.
