Numbers 4:31

And this [is] the charge of their burden
What should be committed to their care and charge, and they should bear and carry:

according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation;
which was assigned to them as their part, and which was very heavy and cumbersome, and therefore they had wagons allowed them, ( Numbers 7:8 ) ;

the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars
thereof, and sockets thereof;
all these belonged to the holy and to the most holy place; see ( Exodus 26:15-37 ) .

29 “Conte os meraritas conforme os seus clãs e famílias,

30 todos os homens entre trinta e cinquenta anos, aptos para servir, para que façam o serviço da Tenda do Encontro.

31 Esta é a responsabilidade deles no serviço que deverão realizar na Tenda do Encontro: carregar as armações do tabernáculo, seus travessões, suas colunas e suas bases,

32 bem como as colunas do pátio, que rodeia a tenda, com suas bases, suas estacas e suas cordas; todos os seus utensílios e tudo o que está relacionado com o seu uso. Designe a cada um aquilo que deverá levar.

33 Esse é o serviço dos clãs meraritas. Todo o serviço deles na Tenda do Encontro estará sob a supervisão de Itamar, filho do sacerdote Arão”.
