Psalms 70:3

Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame
In ( Psalms 40:15 ) it is, "let them be desolate"; which seems to respect their land and houses, here their persons; (See Gill on Psalms 40:15);

that say;
in ( Psalms 40:15 ) it is added, "to me"; not to his people, but himself,

aha, aha:
rejoicing at his calamity and distress. The Targum is,

``we are glad, we are glad;''

1 Livra-me, ó Deus!Apressa-te, SENHOR, a ajudar-me!

2 Sejam humilhados e frustradosos que procuram tirar-me a vida;retrocedam desprezadosos que desejam a minha ruína.

3 Retrocedam em desgraçaos que zombam de mim.

4 Mas regozijem-se e alegrem-se em titodos os que te buscam;digam sempre os que amam a tua salvação:“Como Deus é grande!”

5 Quanto a mim, sou pobre e necessitado;apressa-te, ó Deus.Tu és o meu socorro e o meu libertador;SENHOR, não te demores!
