1 Kings 7:1

But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years
He made more haste with the house of God than with his own, for that was but seven years in building; which showed greater regard to the honour of God then to his own glory, or even convenience; nor was this built till after that:

and finished all his house;
or houses he undertook to build, the singular for the plural; even the house of God, his own palace, and that for the daughter of Pharaoh, and that which is next mentioned, which were in all twenty years building, ( 1 Kings 9:10 ) .

1 Salomon bĂątit aussi sa maison, et il l'acheva toute en treize ans.
2 Il bĂątit la maison de la ForĂȘt du Liban, de cent coudĂ©es de long, de cinquante coudĂ©es de large, et de trente coudĂ©es de haut, sur quatre rangĂ©es de colonnes de cĂšdre et des poutres de cĂšdre placĂ©es sur les colonnes.
3 Et il y avait des plafonds de cÚdre aux chambres latérales, qui étaient sur les colonnes, au nombre de quarante-cinq, quinze par étage.
4 Et il y avait trois Ă©tages de fenĂȘtres; une fenĂȘtre rĂ©pondant Ă  une fenĂȘtre, les trois fois.
5 Et toutes les portes et les poteaux étaient d'une charpente carrée; et aux trois étages, les ouvertures répondaient aux ouvertures vis-à-vis.
