Job 25

GNTA 1 God is powerful; all must stand in awe of him; NIV 1 Then Bildad the Shuhite replied: GNTA 2 he keeps his heavenly kingdom in peace. NIV 2 “Dominion and awe belong to God; he establishes order in the heights of heaven. GNTA 3 Can anyone count the angels who serve him? Is there any place where God's light does not shine? NIV 3 Can his forces be numbered? On whom does his light not rise? GNTA 4 Can anyone be righteous or pure in God's sight? NIV 4 How then can a mortal be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure? GNTA 5 In his eyes even the moon is not bright, or the stars pure. NIV 5 If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in his eyes, GNTA 6 Then what about a human being, that worm, that insect? What is a human life worth in God's eyes? NIV 6 how much less a mortal, who is but a maggot— a human being, who is only a worm!”
