1 Entonces habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo:

The LORD said to Moses,
2 Manda a los hijos de Israel que te traigan aceite puro de olivas machacadas para el alumbrado, para hacer arder la lámpara continuamente.

“Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning continually.
3 Fuera del velo del testimonio, en la tienda de reunión, Aarón las dispondrá para que ardan desde el anochecer hasta la mañana delante del SEÑOR continuamente; será estatuto perpetuo para todas vuestras generaciones.

Outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law in the tent of meeting, Aaron is to tend the lamps before the LORD from evening till morning, continually. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.
4 Mantendrá las lámparas en orden en el candelabro de oro puro, continuamente delante del SEÑOR.

The lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the LORD must be tended continually.
5 Tomarás flor de harina y con ella cocerás doce tortas; en cada torta habrá dos décimas de efa.

“Take the finest flour and bake twelve loaves of bread, using two-tenths of an ephah for each loaf.
6 Y las colocarás en dos hileras, seis en cada hilera, sobre la mesa de oro puro delante del SEÑOR.

Arrange them in two stacks, six in each stack, on the table of pure gold before the LORD.
7 Y en cada hilera pondrás incienso puro, para que sea porción memorial del pan, una ofrenda encendida para el SEÑOR.

By each stack put some pure incense as a memorial portion to represent the bread and to be a food offering presented to the LORD.
8 Cada día de reposo, continuamente, se pondrá en orden delante del SEÑOR; es un pacto eterno para los hijos de Israel.

This bread is to be set out before the LORD regularly, Sabbath after Sabbath, on behalf of the Israelites, as a lasting covenant.
9 Y será para Aarón y para sus hijos, y lo comerán en un lugar santo; porque lo tendrá como cosa muy sagrada de las ofrendas encendidas para el SEÑOR, por derecho perpetuo.

It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in the sanctuary area, because it is a most holy part of their perpetual share of the food offerings presented to the LORD.”
10 El hijo de una mujer israelita, cuyo padre era egipcio, salió entre los hijos de Israel; y el hijo de la israelita y un hombre de Israel lucharon en el campamento.

Now the son of an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father went out among the Israelites, and a fight broke out in the camp between him and an Israelite.
11 Y el hijo de la israelita blasfemó el Nombre, y maldijo. Entonces lo llevaron a Moisés. (El nombre de su madre era Selomit, hija de Dibri, de la tribu de Dan.)

The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name with a curse; so they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri the Danite.)
12 Y lo pusieron en la cárcel, hasta que se les aclarara la palabra del SEÑOR.

They put him in custody until the will of the LORD should be made clear to them.
13 Entonces habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo:

Then the LORD said to Moses:
14 Saca fuera del campamento al que maldijo, y que todos los que lo oyeron pongan las manos sobre su cabeza, y que toda la congregación lo apedree.

“Take the blasphemer outside the camp. All those who heard him are to lay their hands on his head, and the entire assembly is to stone him.
15 Y hablarás a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: "Si alguien maldice a su Dios, llevará su pecado.

Say to the Israelites: ‘Anyone who curses their God will be held responsible;
16 "Además, el que blasfeme el nombre del SEÑOR, ciertamente ha de morir; toda la congregación ciertamente lo apedreará. Tanto el forastero como el nativo, cuando blasfeme el Nombre, ha de morir.

anyone who blasphemes the name of the LORD is to be put to death. The entire assembly must stone them. Whether foreigner or native-born, when they blaspheme the Name they are to be put to death.
17 "Si un hombre quita la vida a cualquier ser humano, ciertamente ha de morir.

“ ‘Anyone who takes the life of a human being is to be put to death.
18 "Y el que quite la vida a un animal lo restituirá, vida por vida.

Anyone who takes the life of someone’s animal must make restitution—life for life.
19 "Si un hombre hiere a su prójimo, según hizo, así se le hará:

Anyone who injures their neighbor is to be injured in the same manner:
20 fractura por fractura, ojo por ojo, diente por diente; según la lesión que haya hecho a otro, así se le hará.

fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. The one who has inflicted the injury must suffer the same injury.
21 "El que mate un animal, lo restituirá, pero el que mate a un hombre, ha de morir.

Whoever kills an animal must make restitution, but whoever kills a human being is to be put to death.
22 "Habrá una misma ley para vosotros; será tanto para el forastero como para el nativo, porque yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios."

You are to have the same law for the foreigner and the native-born. I am the LORD your God.’ ”
23 Moisés entonces habló a los hijos de Israel, y ellos sacaron fuera del campamento al que había maldecido, y lo apedrearon. Los hijos de Israel hicieron tal como el SEÑOR había mandado a Moisés.

Then Moses spoke to the Israelites, and they took the blasphemer outside the camp and stoned him. The Israelites did as the LORD commanded Moses.
