NIV 6 Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water. CEBA 7 Moses put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, and dressed him in the robe. Moses then put the priestly vest on Aaron, tied the woven waistband of the vest around him, and secured the vest to him with it. NIV 7 He put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him. He also fastened the ephod with a decorative waistband, which he tied around him. CEBA 8 Then Moses placed the chest piece on Aaron and set the Urim and Thummim into the chest piece. NIV 8 He placed the breastpiece on him and put the Urim and Thummim in the breastpiece. CEBA 9 Moses placed the turban on Aaron's head and put the gold flower ornament, the holy crown, on the turban's front, just as the LORD had commanded him. NIV 9 Then he placed the turban on Aaron’s head and set the gold plate, the sacred emblem, on the front of it, as the LORD commanded Moses. CEBA 10 Moses then took the anointing oil and anointed the dwelling and everything in it, making them holy by doing so. NIV 10 Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it, and so consecrated them. CEBA 11 He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its equipment, as well as the basin and its base, to make them holy. NIV 11 He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times, anointing the altar and all its utensils and the basin with its stand, to consecrate them. NIV 13 Then he brought Aaron’s sons forward, put tunics on them, tied sashes around them and fastened caps on them, as the LORD commanded Moses. CEBA 14 Next Moses brought forward the bull for the purification offering. Aaron and his sons pressed their hands on its head. NIV 14 He then presented the bull for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. CEBA 15 Moses slaughtered it, then took the blood and, using his finger, put it on all of the altar's horns, purifying the altar. He poured the rest of the blood out at the altar's base. Then he made the altar holy so that reconciliation could be performed on it. NIV 15 Moses slaughtered the bull and took some of the blood, and with his finger he put it on all the horns of the altar to purify the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar. So he consecrated it to make atonement for it. CEBA 16 Moses removed all the fat that was around the insides, the lobe of the liver, the two kidneys and their fat, and he completely burned it on the altar. NIV 16 Moses also took all the fat around the internal organs, the long lobe of the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and burned it on the altar. CEBA 17 But the rest of the bull, including its hide, its flesh, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp just as the LORD had commanded him. NIV 22 He then presented the other ram, the ram for the ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head. NIV 26 And from the basket of bread made without yeast, which was before the LORD, he took one thick loaf, one thick loaf with olive oil mixed in, and one thin loaf, and he put these on the fat portions and on the right thigh. CEBA 27 Moses set all of this in Aaron's and his sons' hands, then lifted them as an uplifted offering before the LORD. NIV 27 He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons, and they waved them before the LORD as a wave offering. CEBA 28 Next Moses took this out of their hands and completely burned it on the altar, along with the entirely burned offering. You may eat it there along with the bread that is in the basket of the ordination offering, just as I was commanded, ‘Aaron and his sons can eat it.' NIV 31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, “Cook the meat at the entrance to the tent of meeting and eat it there with the bread from the basket of ordination offerings, as I was commanded: ‘Aaron and his sons are to eat it.’ CEBA 32 But you must burn whatever is left over of the meat and bread with fire. NIV 32 Then burn up the rest of the meat and the bread. CEBA 33 You must not leave the meeting tent's entrance for seven days, until the period of your ordination is completed, because your ordination takes seven days. NIV 33 Do not leave the entrance to the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed, for your ordination will last seven days. CEBA 34 What was done today was commanded by the LORD, to make reconciliation for you. NIV 34 What has been done today was commanded by the LORD to make atonement for you.
