1 Halelu-JAH: for <em>it is</em> good to sing praises unto our God; for praise is pleasant and beautiful.
1 Praise the LORD.How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him!
2 The LORD, he who builds up Jerusalem; shall gather together the outcasts of Israel.

13 For he has strengthened the bars of thy gates; he has blessed thy sons within thee.

14 He who makes peace <em>to be</em> thy borders shall fill thee with the finest of the wheat.
14 He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.
15 He sends forth his word <em>upon</em> earth; his word runs very swiftly.

16 He who gives snow like wool scatters the hoarfrost like ashes.

17 He casts forth his ice like morsels; who can stand before his cold?

18 He shall send forth his word and melt them; his wind shall blow, and the waters shall flow.

19 He declares his words unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
19 He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel.
