Psalm 116

1 Amo al SEÑOR, porque oye mi voz y mis súplicas.

1 I love the LORD , because He hears My voice and my supplications.

2 Porque a mí ha inclinado su oído; por tanto le invocaré mientras yo viva.

2 Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.

3 Los lazos de la muerte me rodearon, y los terrores del Seol vinieron sobre mí; angustia y tristeza encontré.

3 The cords of death encompassed me And the terrors of Sheol came upon me; I found distress and sorrow.

4 Invoqué entonces el nombre del SEÑOR, diciendo: Te ruego, oh SEÑOR: salva mi vida.

4 Then I called upon the name of the LORD : "O LORD , I beseech You, save my life!"

5 Clemente y justo es el SEÑOR; sí, compasivo es nuestro Dios.

5 Gracious is the LORD , and righteous; Yes, our God is compassionate.

6 El SEÑOR guarda a los sencillos; estaba yo postrado y me salvó.

6 The LORD preserves the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.

7 Vuelve, alma mía, a tu reposo, porque el SEÑOR te ha colmado de bienes.

7 Return to your rest, O my soul, For the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.

8 Pues tú has rescatado mi alma de la muerte, mis ojos de lágrimas, mis pies de tropezar.

8 For You have rescued my soul from death, My eyes from tears, My feet from stumbling.

9 Andaré delante del SEÑOR en la tierra de los vivientes.

9 I shall walk before the LORD In the land of the living.

10 Yo creía, aun cuando decía: Estoy muy afligido.

10 I believed when I said, "I am greatly afflicted."

11 Dije alarmado: Todo hombre es mentiroso.

11 I said in my alarm, "All men are liars."

12 ¿Qué daré al SEÑOR por todos sus beneficios para conmigo?

12 What shall I render to the LORD For all His benefits toward me?

13 Alzaré la copa de la salvación, e invocaré el nombre del SEÑOR.

13 I shall lift up the cup of salvation And call upon the name of the LORD .

14 Cumpliré mis votos al SEÑOR, sí, en presencia de todo su pueblo.

14 I shall pay my vows to the LORD , Oh may it be in the presence of all His people.

15 Estimada a los ojos del SEÑOR es la muerte de sus santos.

15 Precious in the sight of the LORD Is the death of His godly ones.

16 ¡Ah, SEÑOR! Ciertamente yo soy tu siervo, siervo tuyo soy, hijo de tu sierva; tú desataste mis ataduras.

16 O LORD , surely I am Your servant, I am Your servant, the son of Your handmaid, You have loosed my bonds.

17 Te ofreceré sacrificio de acción de gracias, e invocaré el nombre del SEÑOR.

17 To You I shall offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving, And call upon the name of the LORD .

18 Al SEÑOR cumpliré mis votos, sí, en presencia de todo su pueblo,

18 I shall pay my vows to the LORD , Oh may it be in the presence of all His people,

19 en los atrios de la casa del SEÑOR, en medio de ti, oh Jerusalén. ¡Aleluya!

19 In the courts of the LORD'S house, In the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise the LORD !
