How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2 ¿Hasta cuándo tendré que luchar con angustia en mi alma,<br />con tristeza en mi corazón día tras día?<br />¿Hasta cuándo mi enemigo seguirá dominándome?

How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and day after day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Vuélvete hacia mí y contéstame, ¡oh Señor<br />, mi Dios!<br />Devuélvele el brillo a mis ojos, o moriré.

Look on me and answer, LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 No permitas que mis enemigos se regodeen diciendo: «¡Lo hemos derrotado!».<br />No dejes que se regodeen en mi caída.

and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,” and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 Pero yo confío en tu amor inagotable;<br />me alegraré porque me has rescatado.

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 Cantaré al Señor<br />porque él es bueno conmigo.

I will sing the LORD’s praise, for he has been good to me.
