1 A ti, SEÑOR, elevo mi clamordesde las profundidades del abismo.

1 Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD;

2 Escucha, Señor, mi voz.Estén atentos tus oídos a mi voz suplicante.

2 Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.

3 Si tú, SEÑOR, tomaras en cuenta los pecados,¿quién, Señor, sería declarado inocente?

3 If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?

4 Pero en ti se halla perdón,y por eso debes ser temido.

4 But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.

5 Espero al SEÑOR, lo espero con toda el alma;en su palabra he puesto mi esperanza.

5 I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.

6 Espero al Señor con toda el alma,más que los centinelas la mañana.Como esperan los centinelas la mañana,

6 I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.

7 así tú, Israel, espera al SEÑOR.Porque en él hay amor inagotable;en él hay plena redención.

7 Israel, put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.

8 Él mismo redimirá a Israelde todos sus pecados.

8 He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.
