1 Salmo 19<br />Para el director del coro: salmo de David.<br />Los cielos proclaman la gloria de Dios<br />y el firmamento despliega la destreza de sus manos.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Día tras día no cesan de hablar;<br />noche tras noche lo dan a conocer.

Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 Hablan sin sonidos ni palabras;<br />su voz jamás se oye.

They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.
4 Sin embargo, su mensaje se ha difundido por toda la tierra<br />y sus palabras, por todo el mundo.<br />Dios preparó un hogar para el sol en los cielos,

Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.

It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 El sol sale de un extremo de los cielos<br />y sigue su curso hasta llegar al otro extremo;<br />nada puede ocultarse de su calor.

It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.
7 Las enseñanzas del Señor<br /> son perfectas,<br />reavivan el alma.<br />Los decretos del Señor<br /> son confiables,<br />hacen sabio al sencillo.

The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8 Los mandamientos del Señor<br /> son rectos,<br />traen alegría al corazón.<br />Los mandatos del Señor<br /> son claros,<br />dan buena percepción para vivir.

The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous.

They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.

By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
12 ¿Cómo puedo conocer todos los pecados escondidos en mi corazón?<br />Límpiame de estas faltas ocultas.

But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.
13 ¡Libra a tu siervo de pecar intencionalmente!<br />No permitas que estos pecados me controlen.<br />Entonces estaré libre de culpa<br />y seré inocente de grandes pecados.

Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression.
14 Que las palabras de mi boca<br />y la meditación de mi corazón<br />sean de tu agrado,<br />oh Señor<br />, mi roca y mi redentor.

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
