1 Bendeciré al SEÑOR en todo tiempo; continuamente estará su alabanza en mi boca.

1 I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.

2 En el SEÑOR se gloriará mi alma; lo oirán los humildes y se regocijarán.

2 I will glory in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

3 Engrandeced al SEÑOR conmigo, y exaltemos a una su nombre.

3 Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together.

4 Busqué al SEÑOR, y El me respondió, y me libró de todos mis temores.

4 I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

5 Los que a El miraron, fueron iluminados; sus rostros jamás serán avergonzados.

5 Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame.

6 Este pobre clamó, y el SEÑOR le oyó, y lo salvó de todas sus angustias.

6 This poor man called, and the LORD heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles.

7 El ángel del SEÑOR acampa alrededor de los que le temen, y los rescata.

7 The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

8 Probad y ved que el SEÑOR es bueno. ¡Cuán bienaventurado es el hombre que en El se refugia!

8 Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

9 Temed al SEÑOR, vosotros sus santos, pues nada les falta a aquellos que le temen.

9 Fear the LORD, you his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing.

10 Los leoncillos pasan necesidad y tienen hambre, mas los que buscan al SEÑOR no carecerán de bien alguno.

10 The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

11 Venid, hijos, escuchadme; os enseñaré el temor del SEÑOR.

11 Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.

12 ¿Quién es el hombre que desea vida y quiere muchos días para ver el bien?

12 Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days,

13 Guarda tu lengua del mal, y tus labios de hablar engaño.

13 keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.

14 Apártate del mal y haz el bien, busca la paz y síguela.

14 Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

15 Los ojos del SEÑOR están sobre los justos, y sus oídos atentos a su clamor.

15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry;

16 El rostro del SEÑOR está contra los que hacen mal, para cortar de la tierra su memoria.

16 but the face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth.

17 Claman los justos, y el SEÑOR los oye, y los libra de todas sus angustias.

17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

18 Cercano está el SEÑOR a los quebrantados de corazón, y salva a los abatidos de espíritu.

18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

19 Muchas son las aflicciones del justo, pero de todas ellas lo libra el SEÑOR.

19 The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;

20 El guarda todos sus huesos; ni uno de ellos es quebrantado.

20 he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.

21 La maldad dará muerte al impío, y los que aborrecen al justo serán condenados.

21 Evil will slay the wicked; the foes of the righteous will be condemned.

22 El SEÑOR redime el alma de sus siervos; y no será condenado ninguno de los que en El se refugian.

22 The LORD will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
