1 ¿Habláis en verdad justicia, oh dioses ? ¿Juzgáis rectamente, hijos de los hombres?

Do you indeed speak righteousness, O gods? Do you judge uprightly, O sons of men?
2 No, pues en el corazón cometéis iniquidad; la violencia de vuestras manos repartís en la tierra.

No, in heart you work unrighteousness; On earth you weigh out the violence of your hands.
3 Desde la matriz están desviados los impíos; desde su nacimiento se descarrían los que hablan mentiras.

The wicked are estranged from the womb; These who speak lies go astray from birth.
4 Tienen veneno como veneno de serpiente; son como una cobra sorda que cierra su oído,

They have venom like the venom of a serpent; Like a deaf cobra that stops up its ear,
5 que no oye la voz de los que encantan, ni siquiera al más diestro encantador.

So that it does not hear the voice of charmers, Or a skillful caster of spells.
6 Oh Dios, rompe los dientes de su boca; quiebra las muelas de los leoncillos, SEÑOR.

O God, shatter their teeth in their mouth; Break out the fangs of the young lions, O LORD .
7 Que se diluyan como las aguas que corren; cuando disparen sus saetas, que sean como si estuvieran sin punta.

Let them flow away like water that runs off; When he aims his arrows, let them be as headless shafts.
8 Que sean como el caracol, que se deslíe según se arrastra, como los que nacen muertos, que nunca ven el sol.

Let them be as a snail which melts away as it goes along, Like the miscarriages of a woman which never see the sun.
9 Antes que vuestras ollas puedan sentir el fuego de los espinos, tanto los verdes como los que arden, los barrerá El con torbellino.

Before your pots can feel the fire of thorns He will sweep them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.

The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; He will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

And men will say, "Surely there is a reward for the righteous; Surely there is a God who judges on earth!"
