Salmos 62

1 En Dios solamente espera en silencio mi alma; de El viene mi salvación.

1 To the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.

2 Sólo El es mi roca y mi salvación, mi baluarte, nunca seré sacudido.

2 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

3 ¿Hasta cuándo atacaréis a un hombre, vosotros todos, para derribarlo, como pared inclinada, como cerca que se tambalea?

3 How long will you attack a man? You shall be slain, all of you, Like a leaning wall and a tottering fence.

4 Solamente consultan para derribarlo de su eminencia; en la falsedad se deleitan; bendicen con la boca, pero por dentro maldicen. (Selah)

4 They only consult to cast him down from his high position; They delight in lies; They bless with their mouth, But they curse inwardly. Selah

5 Alma mía, espera en silencio solamente en Dios, pues de El viene mi esperanza.

5 My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him.

6 Sólo El es mi roca y mi salvación, mi refugio, nunca seré sacudido.

6 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved.

7 En Dios descansan mi salvación y mi gloria; la roca de mi fortaleza, mi refugio, está en Dios.

7 In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God.

8 Confiad en El en todo tiempo, oh pueblo; derramad vuestro corazón delante de El; Dios es nuestro refugio. (Selah)

8 Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah

9 Los hombres de baja condición sólo son vanidad, y los de alto rango son mentira; en la balanza suben, todos juntos pesan menos que un soplo.

9 Surely men of low degree are a vapor, Men of high degree are a lie; If they are weighed on the scales, They are altogether lighter than vapor.

10 No confiéis en la opresión, ni en el robo pongáis vuestra esperanza; si las riquezas aumentan, no pongáis el corazón en ellas.

10 Do not trust in oppression, Nor vainly hope in robbery; If riches increase, Do not set your heart on them.

11 Una vez ha hablado Dios; dos veces he oído esto : Que de Dios es el poder;

11 God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God.

12 y tuya es, oh Señor, la misericordia, pues tú pagas al hombre conforme a sus obras.

12 Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; For You render to each one according to his work.
