O God, do not remain silent; do not turn a deaf ear, do not stand aloof, O God.
2 Mira cómo se alborotan tus enemigos,cómo te desafían los que te odian.

See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads.
3 Con astucia conspiran contra tu pueblo;conspiran contra aquellos a quienes tú estimas.

With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish.
4 Y dicen: «¡Vengan, destruyamos su nación!¡Que el nombre de Israel no vuelva a recordarse!»

“Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.”
5 Como un solo hombre se confabulan;han hecho un pacto contra ti:

With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you—
6 los campamentos de Edom y de Ismael,los de Moab y de Agar,

the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, of Moab and the Hagrites,
7 Guebal, Amón y Amalec,los de Filistea y los habitantes de Tiro.

Byblos, Ammon and Amalek, Philistia, with the people of Tyre.
8 ¡Hasta Asiria se les ha unido;ha apoyado a los descendientes de Lot! Selah

Even Assyria has joined them to reinforce Lot’s descendants.
9 Haz con ellos como hiciste con Madián,como hiciste con Sísara y Jabín en el río Quisón,

Do to them as you did to Midian, as you did to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,

who perished at Endor and became like dung on the ground.
11 Haz con sus noblescomo hiciste con Oreb y con Zeb;haz con todos sus príncipescomo hiciste con Zeba y con Zalmuna,

Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
12 que decían: «Vamos a adueñarnosde los pastizales de Dios».

who said, “Let us take possession of the pasturelands of God.”
13 Hazlos rodar como zarzas, Dios mío;¡como paja que se lleva el viento!

Make them like tumbleweed, my God, like chaff before the wind.
14 Y así como el fuego consume los bosquesy las llamas incendian las montañas,

As fire consumes the forest or a flame sets the mountains ablaze,
15 así persíguelos con tus tormentasy aterrorízalos con tus tempestades.

so pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your storm.
16 SEÑOR, cúbreles el rostro de ignominia,para que busquen tu nombre.

Cover their faces with shame, LORD, so that they will seek your name.
17 Que sean siempre puestos en vergüenza;que perezcan humillados.

May they ever be ashamed and dismayed; may they perish in disgrace.
18 Que sepan que tú eres el SEÑOR,que ese es tu nombre;que sepan que solo tú eres el Altísimo sobre toda la tierra.

Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD— that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.
