1 Oh SEÑOR, Dios de las venganzas, oh Dios de las venganzas, ¡resplandece!

2 Levántate, Juez de la tierra; da su merecido a los soberbios.

3 ¿Hasta cuándo los impíos, SEÑOR, hasta cuándo los impíos se regocijarán?

4 Charlan, hablan con arrogancia; todos los que hacen iniquidad se vanaglorían.

5 Aplastan a tu pueblo, SEÑOR, y afligen a tu heredad.

6 Matan a la viuda y al extranjero, y asesinan a los huérfanos.

7 Y dicen: El SEÑOR no lo ve, ni hace caso el Dios de Jacob.

8 Haced caso, torpes del pueblo; necios, ¿cuándo entenderéis?

9 El que hizo el oído, ¿no oye? El que dio forma al ojo, ¿no ve?

10 ¿No reprenderá el que castiga a las naciones, el que enseña conocimiento al hombre?

11 El SEÑOR conoce los pensamientos del hombre, sabe que son sólo un soplo.

12 Bienaventurado el hombre a quien corriges, SEÑOR, y lo instruyes en tu ley;

13 para darle descanso en los días de aflicción, hasta que se cave una fosa para el impío.

14 Porque el SEÑOR no abandonará a su pueblo, ni desamparará a su heredad.

15 Porque el juicio volverá a ser justo, y todos los rectos de corazón lo seguirán.

16 ¿Quién se levantará por mí contra los malhechores? ¿Quién me defenderá de los que hacen iniquidad?

17 Si el SEÑOR no hubiera sido mi socorro, pronto habría habitado mi alma en el lugar del silencio.

18 Si digo: Mi pie ha resbalado, tu misericordia, oh SEÑOR, me sostendrá.

19 Cuando mis inquietudes se multiplican dentro de mí, tus consuelos deleitan mi alma.

20 ¿Puede ser aliado tuyo un trono de destrucción, que planea el mal por decreto?

21 Se unen contra la vida del justo, y condenan a muerte al inocente.

22 Pero el SEÑOR ha sido mi baluarte, y mi Dios la roca de mi refugio.

23 El ha hecho volver sobre ellos su propia iniquidad, y los destruirá en su maldad; el SEÑOR, nuestro Dios, los destruirá. incredulidad

1 O LORD , God of vengeance, God of vengeance, shine forth!

2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth, Render recompense to the proud.

3 How long shall the wicked, O LORD , How long shall the wicked exult?

4 They pour forth words, they speak arrogantly; All who do wickedness vaunt themselves.

5 They crush Your people, O LORD , And afflict Your heritage.

6 They slay the widow and the stranger And murder the orphans.

7 They have said, "The LORD does not see, Nor does the God of Jacob pay heed."

8 Pay heed, you senseless among the people; And when will you understand, stupid ones?

9 He who planted the ear, does He not hear? He who formed the eye, does He not see?

10 He who chastens the nations, will He not rebuke, Even He who teaches man knowledge?

11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, That they are a mere breath.

12 Blessed is the man whom You chasten, O LORD , And whom You teach out of Your law;

13 That You may grant him relief from the days of adversity, Until a pit is dug for the wicked.

14 For the LORD will not abandon His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance.

15 For judgment will again be righteous, And all the upright in heart will follow it.

16 Who will stand up for me against evildoers? Who will take his stand for me against those who do wickedness?

17 If the LORD had not been my help, My soul would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence.

18 If I should say, "My foot has slipped," Your lovingkindness, O LORD , will hold me up.

19 When my anxious thoughts multiply within me, Your consolations delight my soul.

20 Can a throne of destruction be allied with You, One which devises mischief by decree?

21 They band themselves together against the life of the righteous And condemn the innocent to death.

22 But the LORD has been my stronghold, And my God the rock of my refuge.

23 He has brought back their wickedness upon them And will destroy them in their evil; The LORD our God will destroy them.
