Deuteronomio 11:22-32

22 »Asegúrate de obedecer todos los mandatos que te entrego. Demuéstrale amor al Señor
tu Dios andando en sus caminos y aferrándote a él.

23 Entonces el Señor
expulsará a todas esas naciones de tu paso y, aunque ellas son más grandes y más fuertes que tú, tomarás posesión de esa tierra.

24 Todo lugar que pises con la planta de tus pies será tuyo. Tus fronteras se extenderán desde el desierto, en el sur, hasta el Líbano, en el norte, y desde el río Éufrates, al oriente, hasta el mar Mediterráneo,
en el occidente.

25 Dondequiera que vayas en la tierra, nadie podrá hacerte frente, porque el Señor
tu Dios hará que los habitantes te teman y se espanten, tal como lo prometió.

26 »Escucha bien: ¡hoy te doy a elegir entre una bendición y una maldición!

27 Recibirás bendición si obedeces los mandatos del Señor
tu Dios que te entrego hoy;

28 pero recibirás maldición si rechazas los mandatos del Señor
tu Dios y te apartas de él y rindes culto a dioses que no conocías.

29 »Cuando el Señor
tu Dios te lleve a la tierra y te ayude a tomar posesión de ella, pronunciarás la bendición en el monte Gerizim y la maldición en el monte Ebal.

30 (Esos dos montes se encuentran al occidente del río Jordán, en la tierra de los cananeos que viven en el valle del Jordán,
cerca de la ciudad de Gilgal, a poca distancia de los robles de More).

31 Estás a punto de cruzar el río Jordán para tomar posesión de la tierra que el Señor
tu Dios te da. Una vez que la tomes y estés viviendo en ella,

32 asegúrate de obedecer todos los decretos y las ordenanzas que te entrego hoy.

INTRODUCTION TO DEUTERONOMY 11

In this chapter, the exhortation to love the Lord, and keep his commands, is repeated and urged again and again from various considerations; as not only from the chastisement of Pharaoh and the wicked Egyptians, but of such Israelites who offended the Lord, and transgressed his law, De 12:1-7, from the goodness and excellency of the land they were going to inherit, De 11:8-11, from the blessing of rain that would come upon it, and be productive of all good things for man and beast, in case of obedience, and a restraint of it in case of disobedience, De 11:12-17, from the continuance of them and their offspring in the land, should they be careful to observe the commands themselves, and teach them their children, De 11:18-21, and from the extensiveness of their conquests and dominions, De 11:22-25 and from the different issue and effects of their conduct and behaviour, a blessing upon them if obedient, but a curse if disobedient, De 11:26-28 and the chapter is concluded with an exhortation to pronounce the blessing on Mount Gerizim, and the curse on Mount Ebal; the situation of which places is described when they should come into the land of Canaan, of which they are assured, De 11:29-32.
