42 Y aconteci贸 que, cuando se junt贸 la congregaci贸n contra Mois茅s y Aar贸n, miraron hacia el tabern谩culo del testimonio, y he aqu铆 la nube lo hab铆a cubierto, y apareci贸 la gloria del SE脩OR.
43 Y vinieron Mois茅s y Aar贸n delante del tabern谩culo del testimonio.
44 Y el SE脩OR habl贸 a Mois茅s, diciendo:
45 Apartaos de en medio de esta congregaci贸n, y los consumir茅 en un momento. Y ellos se echaron sobre sus rostros.
46 Y dijo Mois茅s a Aar贸n: Toma el incensario, y pon en 茅l fuego del altar, y sobre 茅l pon incienso, y ve presto a la congregaci贸n, y reconc铆lialos; porque el furor ha salido de delante de la faz del SE脩OR; la mortandad ha comenzado.
47 Entonces tom贸 Aar贸n su incensario , como Mois茅s dijo, y corri贸 en medio de la congregaci贸n; y he aqu铆 que la mortandad hab铆a comenzado en el pueblo; y 茅l puso incienso, y reconcili贸 el pueblo.
48 Y se puso entre los muertos y los vivos, y la mortandad ces贸.
49 Y los que murieron de aquella mortandad fueron catorce mil setecientos, sin los muertos por el negocio de Cor茅.
50 Despu茅s se volvi贸 Aar贸n a Mois茅s a la puerta del tabern谩culo del testimonio, cuando la mortandad hab铆a cesado.

INTRODUCTION TO NUMBERS 16

This chapter gives an account of a sedition of Korah and others against Moses and Aaron, Nu 16:1-4, with whom Moses expostulates, and shows the unreasonableness of their clamour against Aaron, Nu 16:5-11; sends for Dathan and Abiram, who were in the confederacy, but refused to come, which greatly angered Moses, Nu 16:12-15; orders Korah and his company to appear before the Lord the next day, with Aaron, to have the controversy decided, Nu 16:16-18; when all the congregation gathered together would have been, consumed had it not been for the intercession of Moses and Aaron, Nu 16:19-22; and who, being separated from the rebels by the command of the Lord, some of the rebels were swallowed up in the earth, and others destroyed by fire from heaven, Nu 16:23-35; and their censers were made a covering for the altar, as a memorial of their sin, Nu 16:36-40; on which there was a new insurrection of the people, which brought a plague upon them, and destroyed 14,700 persons, and which was stopped at the intercession of Aaron, Nu 16:41-50.
