1 John 5=14-21 Confidence of Believers in Their Lives part 1

The sin unto death is a subject many are concerned with. They wonder, “What is it? Have I committed it?” Would you be surprised if I said those questions are the wrong ones to ask? Let’s see together what we should be asking about, “The Sin Unto Death!”

Pastor James Kaddis is on the final leg of his journey through First John. When studying the Bible it’s a good idea to focus on the purpose behind each book. Often it’s stated quite clearly like it is in First John. Today pastor James will focus on the purpose of the epistle and if you’re struggling with depression, be sure to listen, as this will help you greatly!

“Little children, keep yourselves from idols!” That may seem like a strange way to end the epistle of First John. But when you stop to think of how prevalent and destructive idolatry is, it makes perfect sense! Today on Light on the Hill we aim to complete our series, “That Your Joy May be Full.” And pastor James Kaddis will urge us to put Jesus first in our lives, letting go of anything that is getting in the way of that.
