Attitude

On December 9, 1914, Edison Industries was destroyed by fire. Thomas Edison’s son, Charles, was worried about his father. At the disaster site, while the fire was still burning, he found his father. When Thomas Edison saw his son he said, “Charles. Find your mother. Bring her here. She will never see anything like this as long as she lives.” Even though Edison lost much of his life’s work and fortune because of the fire, three weeks later his company released the first phonograph.
