Can you imagine the shock when a Milwaukee real estate agent entered a house that had been foreclosed and discovered the body of the owner, David Carter? Experts estimate he may have been there for four years. People generally liked Carter, calling him smart, generous, funny. Carter had quit his job and told friends and coworkers he was moving away. However, he didn't move away; it appears he took his own life. The question is: Why was a man so disconnected from community that people would not notice a four-year absence?
