King Of Kings

Recently the body of Ethiopia's King Haile Selassie was reburied. He had
claimed to be descended from King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba. He was
revered as a god by the Rastafarian sect. During his lifetime he was called The
King of Kings!
A few years ago the Shah of Iran was deposed in a revolution and shortly afterward he died from cancer. His full title was Shah N' Shah which means King of Kings!
The Greek historian Siculus wrote about a statue of King Ozymandias found in Egypt which is said to be the largest statue ever found in that country. Percy Bysshe Shelley wrote a poem about that ruined statue and its inscription: "My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings. Look on my works ye mighty and despair." And that is all we know of Ozymandias!
But there is only one real King of Kings. He is described in the dramatic passage in Revelation 19. He is called King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He alone deserves the title.
