25 E ognuno gli portava il suo dono: vasi d’argento, vasi d’oro, vesti, armi, aromi, cavalli e muli; e questo avveniva ogni anno.

1 Kings 10:25

And they brought every man his present
To recommend them, and introduce them into his presence:

vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and
spices, and horses, and mules, a rate year by year;
everyone brought according to the commodities of his country; and they did yearly, out of great respect to him, and in veneration of him for his wisdom, and for the advantages they received by his wise counsels and instructions; besides, it was the custom of the eastern countries not to pay a visit, especially to great personages, without carrying a present.

23 Così il re Salomone fu il più grande di tutti i re della terra per ricchezze e per sapienza.
24 E tutto il mondo cercava di veder Salomone per udir la sapienza che Dio gli avea messa in cuore.
25 E ognuno gli portava il suo dono: vasi d’argento, vasi d’oro, vesti, armi, aromi, cavalli e muli; e questo avveniva ogni anno.
26 Salomone radunò carri e cavalieri, ed ebbe mille quattrocento carri e dodicimila cavalieri, che distribuì nelle città dove teneva i suoi carri, e in Gerusalemme presso di sé.
27 E il re fece sì che l’argento era in Gerusalemme così comune come le pietre, e i cedri tanto abbondanti quanto i sicomori della pianura.
