28 E andò con Joram, figliuolo di Achab, a combattere contro Hazael, re di Siria, a Ramoth di Galaad; e i Siri ferirono Joram;

2 Kings 8:28

And he went with Joram the son of Ahab
His mother's brother, and so his uncle:

to the war against Hazael king of Syria in Ramothgilead;
which he went to recover out of the hands of the king of Syria, as his father Ahab had attempted in his time; in which he was assisted by Jehoshaphat, as now Joram was by a grandson of his:

and the Syrians wounded Joram;
as they did his father Ahab at the same place, though his wound was not mortal, as his father's was.

26 Aveva ventidue anni quando cominciò a regnare, e regnò un anno in Gerusalemme. Sua madre si chiamava Athalia, nipote di Omri, re d’Israele.
27 Egli camminò per la via della casa di Achab, e fece ciò ch’è male agli occhi dell’Eterno, come la casa di Achab, perché era imparentato con la casa di Achab.
28 E andò con Joram, figliuolo di Achab, a combattere contro Hazael, re di Siria, a Ramoth di Galaad; e i Siri ferirono Joram;
29 e il re Joram tornò a Izreel per farsi curare delle ferite che avea ricevute dai Siri a Ramah, quando combatteva contro Hazael, re di Siria. Ed Achazia, figliuolo di Jehoram re di Giuda, scese ad Izreel a vedere Joram, figliuolo di Achab, perché questi era ammalato.
