23 E intorno a tutti e quattro c’era un recinto, e de’ fornelli per cuocere erano praticati in basso al recinto, tutt’attorno.

Ezekiel 46:23

And there was a row of building round about in them
Within the courts, not on the outside of them: these were either chambers to eat the sacrifices in when boiled; or they were sheds which covered the cooks, and the meat they were boiling, from the rain: the Targum renders it,

``and walls were made to them round about;''

to the court: and so Jarchi and Kimchi interpret this row of building of a stone wall: round about them four;
the four courts at the four corners: and it was made with boiling places under the rows round about;
under these rows of building, chambers or sheds; or under these stone walls were furnaces, and coppers, and caldrons, set on them, for the boiling of the sacrifices.

21 Poi mi menò fuori nel cortile esterno, e mi fece passar presso i quattro angoli del cortile; ed ecco, in ciascun angolo del cortile c’era un cortile.

22 Nei quattro angoli del cortile c’erano de’ cortili chiusi, di quaranta cubiti di lunghezza e di trenta di larghezza; questi quattro cortili negli angoli avevano le stesse dimensioni.

23 E intorno a tutti e quattro c’era un recinto, e de’ fornelli per cuocere erano praticati in basso al recinto, tutt’attorno.

24 Ed egli mi disse: "Queste son le cucine dove quelli che fanno il servizio della casa faranno cuocere i sacrifizi del popolo".
