1 Kings 11:3

And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred
concubines
In all 1000, a prodigious number; though these might not be all for use, but for state after the manner of the eastern monarchs; these were a far greater number than are alluded to in ( Song of Solomon 6:8 ) , unless the virgins without number there, were such of these as were not defiled by him; but the number here seems plainly referred to in ( Ecclesiastes 7:28 ) ,

and his wives turned away his heart;
both from his duty to his God, and from attendance to his business as a king, especially the former, as follows.

1 EMPERO el rey Salom贸n am贸, 谩 m谩s de la hija de Fara贸n, muchas mujeres extranjeras: 谩 las de Moab, 谩 las de Amm贸n, 谩 las de Idumea, 谩 las de Sid贸n, y 谩 las Hetheas;
2 Gentes de las cuales Jehov谩 hab铆a dicho 谩 los hijos de Israel: No entrar茅is 谩 ellas, ni ellas entrar谩n 谩 vosotros; porque ciertamente har谩n inclinar vuestros corazones tras sus dioses. A 茅stas pues se junt贸 Salom贸n con amor.
3 Y tuvo setecientas mujeres reinas, y trescientas concubinas; y sus mujeres torcieron su coraz贸n.
4 Y ya que Salom贸n era viejo, sus mujeres inclinaron su coraz贸n tras dioses ajenos; y su coraz贸n no era perfecto con Jehov谩 su Dios, como el coraz贸n de su padre David.
5 Porque Salom贸n sigui贸 谩 Astaroth, diosa de los Sidonios, y 谩 Milcom, abominaci贸n de los Ammonitas.
