Isaiah 25:3

Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee
To whom the Lord is strength, as in the following verse ( Isaiah 25:4 ) ; who are strong in the Lord, in the power of his might, and in the grace that is in him; or such of the antichristian party as shall be awakened and convinced by the judgments of God on antichrist, and shall be converted, these shall give glory to the God of heaven, ( Revelation 11:13 ) : the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee;
or such who have belonged to the city or jurisdiction of Rome, and have been terrible to the people of God, yet now shall be frightened themselves, and shall fear the Lord, either with a servile fear, or some, at least, with a truly filial fear; see ( Revelation 11:13 ) ( 15:4 ) .

Isaías 25:3 In-Context

1 JEHOVA, tú eres mi Dios: te ensalzaré, alabaré tu nombre; porque has hecho maravillas, los consejos antiguos, la verdad firme.

2 Que tornaste la ciudad en montón, la ciudad fuerte en ruina: el alcázar de los extraños que no sea ciudad, ni nunca jamás sea reedeficada.

3 Por esto te dará gloria el pueblo fuerte, te temerá la ciudad de gentes robustas.

4 Porque fuiste fortaleza al pobre, fortaleza al menesteroso en su aflicción, amparo contra el turbión, sombra contra el calor: porque el ímpetu de los violentos es como turbión contra frontispicio.

5 Como el calor en lugar seco, así humillarás el orgullo de los extraños; y como calor debajo de nube, harás marchitar el pimpollo de los robustos.
