Levítico 21:8-18

8 Lo santificar谩s por tanto, pues el pan de tu Dios ofrece: santo ser谩 para ti, porque santo soy yo Jehov谩 vuestro santificador.
9 Y la hija del var贸n sacerdote, si comenzare 谩 fornicar, 谩 su padre amancilla: quemada ser谩 al fuego.
10 Y el sumo sacerdote entre sus hermanos, sobre cuya cabeza fu茅 derramado el aceite de la unci贸n, y que hinchi贸 su mano para vestir las vestimentas, no descubrir谩 su cabeza, ni romper谩 sus vestidos:
11 Ni entrar谩 donde haya alguna persona muerta, ni por su padre, 贸 por su madre se contaminar谩.
12 Ni saldr谩 del santuario, ni contaminar谩 el santuario de su Dios; porque la corona del aceite de la unci贸n de su Dios est谩 sobre 茅l: Yo Jehov谩.
13 Y tomar谩 茅l mujer con su virginidad.
14 Viuda, 贸 repudiada, 贸 infame, 贸 ramera, 茅stas no tomar谩: mas tomar谩 virgen de sus pueblos por mujer.
15 Y no amancillar谩 su simiente en sus pueblos; porque yo Jehov谩 soy el que los santifico.
16 Y Jehov谩 habl贸 谩 Mois茅s, diciendo:
17 Habla 谩 Aar贸n, y dile: El var贸n de tu simiente en sus generaciones, en el cual hubiere falta, no se allegar谩 para ofrecer el pan de su Dios.
18 Porque ning煤n var贸n en el cual hubiere falta, se allegar谩: var贸n ciego, 贸 cojo, 贸 falto, 贸 sobrado,

INTRODUCTION TO LEVITICUS 21

This chapter respects the priests, the sons of Aaron, and forbids their mourning for the dead, unless in some cases, Le 21:1-6; or their marriage with an whore or a divorced woman, Le 21:7,8; and the daughters of any of them to commit fornication, which is made punishable with death, Le 21:9; and it contains particular laws for the high priest to observe, who was not to mourn for any, even for his parents, Le 21:10,11; nor to go out of the sanctuary, Le 21:12; nor to marry any woman but a virgin, Le 21:13-15; and it also directs, that none of the priests having any blemish in them should be employed in divine service, though they might eat of the holy things, Le 21:16-24.
