Luke 23:47

Now when the centurion saw what was done
The eclipse of the sun, the darkness upon the land, the earthquake, the rocks rent, and Jesus expire in so uncommon a manner:

he glorified God;
by confessing that Christ was the Son of God, and declaring him an innocent person:

saying, certainly, this was a righteous man;
clear of the charges exhibited against him, and has suffered wrongfully; and this he concluded from those unusual appearances, and which he considered as tokens of divine resentment.

45 Y el sol se obscureci贸: y el velo del templo se rompi贸 por medio.
46 Entonces Jes煤s, clamando 谩 gran voz, dijo: Padre, en tus manos encomiendo mi esp铆ritu. Y habiendo dicho esto, espir贸.
47 Y como el centuri贸n vi贸 lo que hab铆a acontecido, di贸 gloria 谩 Dios, diciendo: Verdaderamente este hombre era justo.
48 Y toda la multitud de los que estaban presentes 谩 este espect谩culo, viendo lo que hab铆a acontecido, se volv铆an hiriendo sus pechos.
49 Mas todos sus conocidos, y las mujeres que le hab铆an seguido desde Galilea, estaban lejos mirando estas cosas.
