And immediately the king sent an executioner

and commanded his head to be brought;
ordered him to cut off his head in prison, and bring it away forthwith in a charger to him:

and he went and beheaded him in the prison;
according to his orders.

25 Entonces ella entr贸 prestamente al rey, y pidi贸, diciendo: Quiero que ahora mismo me des en un plato la cabeza de Juan Bautista.
26 Y el rey se entristeci贸 mucho; mas 谩 causa del juramento, y de los que estaban con 茅l 谩 la mesa, no quiso desecharla.
27 Y luego el rey, enviando uno de la guardia, mand贸 que fuese tra铆da su cabeza;
28 El cual fu茅, y le degoll贸 en la c谩rcel, y traj贸 su cabeza en un plato, y la di贸 谩 la muchacha, y la muchacha la di贸 谩 su madre.
29 Y oy茅ndo lo sus disc铆pulos, vinieron y tomaron su cuerpo, y le pusieron en un sepulcro.
