Psalms 38:14

Thus I was as a man that heareth not
Any thing that is said unto him; he took no more notice of it than if he had never heard it; but bore all the railings and calumnies of men with calmness and patience;

and in whose mouth [are] no reproofs;
as if he had nothing to say for himself, in vindication of his character, and to the refutation of his enemies; as if he had no arguments to make use of, for the conviction and reproof of his adversaries.

12 Y los que buscaban mi alma armaron lazos; Y los que procuraban mi mal hablaban iniquidades, Y meditaban fraudes todo el dĂ­a.
13 Mas yo, como si fuera sordo no oĂ­a; Y estaba como un mudo, que no abre su boca.
14 FuĂ­ pues como un hombre que no oye, Y que en su boca no tiene reprensiones.
15 Porque á ti, oh Jehová, esperé yo: Tú responderás, Jehová Dios mío.
16 Porque dije: Que no se alegren de mĂ­: Cuando mi pie resbalaba, sobre mĂ­ se engrandecĂ­an.
