So Michal let David down through a window
In like manner as Rahab let down the spies from her house in Jericho, when the king's messengers were in quest of them, ( Joshua 2:15 ) ; and as the disciples let down the Apostle Paul at Damascus, to preserve him from the designs of the Jews upon him:

and he went, and fled, and escaped;
he departed from his house, and ran with all the haste he could, and escaped the messengers that had beset the house, and were waiting for him.

10 Y Saúl procuró enclavar a David con la lanza en la pared; mas él se apartó de delante de Saúl, el cual hirió con la lanza en la pared; y David huyó, y se escapó aquella noche.

11 Saúl envió luego mensajeros a casa de David para que lo guardasen, y lo matasen a la mañana. Mas Mical su mujer lo descubrió a David, diciendo: Si no salvares tu vida esta noche, mañana serás muerto.

12 Y Mical descolgó a David por una ventana; y él se fue, y huyó, y se escapó.

13 Tomó luego Mical una estatua, y la puso sobre la cama, y le acomodó por cabecera una almohada de pelos de cabra, y la cubrió con una ropa.

14 Y cuando Saúl envió mensajeros que tomasen a David, ella respondió: Está enfermo.
