15 Mas aquellos hombres nos han sido muy buenos, y nunca nos han hecho fuerza, ni ninguna cosa nos ha faltado en todo el tiempo que hemos conversado con ellos, mientras hemos estado en el campo.

1 Samuel 25:15

But the men [were] very good unto us
Very kind and civil, yea, very useful and serviceable, even all the messengers David sent and Nabal railed on, yea, all David's men, and therefore deserved better treatment than they met with from Nabal:

and we were not hurt;
neither by them nor others:

neither missed we anything:
of our flocks, or anything belonging to us; they neither robbed us themselves, nor suffered others to rob us:

as long as we were conversant with them, when we were in the fields;
feeding the sheep by them: thus he confirms everything that David said of himself and his men, (See Gill on 1 Samuel 25:7): and says even more of them to their commendation, as follows.

13 Entonces David dijo a sus criados: Cíñase cada uno su espada. Y se ciñó cada uno su espada; también David ciñó su espada; y subieron tras David como cuatrocientos hombres, y dejaron doscientos con el bagaje.

14 Y uno de los criados dio aviso a Abigail mujer de Nabal, diciendo: He aquí David envió mensajeros del desierto que saludasen a nuestro amo, y él los ha zaherido.

15 Mas aquellos hombres nos han sido muy buenos, y nunca nos han hecho fuerza, ni ninguna cosa nos ha faltado en todo el tiempo que hemos conversado con ellos, mientras hemos estado en el campo.

16 Nos han sido por muro de día y de noche, todos los días que hemos apacentando las ovejas con ellos.

17 Ahora, pues, entiende y mira lo que has de hacer, porque el mal está del todo resuelto contra nuestro amo y contra toda su casa; pues él es un hombre tan malo, que no hay quien pueda hablarle.
