7 y que no se les cuente el dinero cuyo manejo se les confiare, porque ellos proceden con fidelidad.

2 Kings 22:7

Howbeit, there was no reckoning made with them of the money
that was delivered into their hand
No account was kept between the high priest, and the king's scribe who delivered the money and the overseers of the workmen, who received it from them the latter were not called to any account by the former, nor any audit made of their accounts:

because they dealt faithfully:
they were persons of such known honour and integrity, that their fidelity was not in the least called in question, but were trusted without examining their accounts, and how they disposed of the money committed to them, see ( 2 Kings 12:15 ) .

5 y que lo pongan en manos de los que hacen la obra, que tienen cargo de la Casa del SEÑOR, y que lo entreguen a los que hacen la obra en la Casa del SEÑOR, para reparar las aberturas de la Casa;

6 a los carpinteros, a los maestros y albañiles, para comprar madera y piedra de cantería para reparar la Casa;

7 y que no se les cuente el dinero cuyo manejo se les confiare, porque ellos proceden con fidelidad.

8 Entonces dijo el sumo sacerdote Hilcías a Safán escriba: El libro de la ley he hallado en la Casa del SEÑOR. E Hilcías dio el libro a Safán para que lo leyese.

9 Viniendo luego Safán escriba al rey, dio al rey la respuesta, y dijo: Tus siervos han juntado el dinero que se halló en el templo, y lo han entregado en poder de los que hacen la obra, que tienen cargo de la Casa del SEÑOR.
