2 Samuel 15:29

Zadok therefore and Abiathar carried the ark of God again to
Jerusalem
That is, ordered it to be carried, and took care that it was carried, by the Kohathite Levites, and they themselves attended it:

and they tarried there;
at Jerusalem; though their two sons that went with them entered not into the city, but stayed at a place called Enrogel, at some little distance from it, ( 2 Samuel 17:17 ) .

27 Dijo aún el rey a Sadoc sacerdote: ¿No eres tú el vidente? Vuélvete en paz a la ciudad; y con vosotros vuestros dos hijos, tu hijo Ahimaas, y Jonatán hijo de Abiatar.

28 Mirad, yo me detendré en los campos del desierto, hasta que venga respuesta de vosotros que me dé aviso.

29 Entonces Sadoc y Abiatar volvieron el arca de Dios a Jerusalén; y se estuvieron allá.

30 Y David subió la cuesta de las olivas; y la subió llorando, llevando la cabeza cubierta, y los pies descalzos. También todo el pueblo que tenía consigo cubrió cada uno su cabeza, y subieron llorando así como subían.

31 Y dieron aviso a David, diciendo: Ahitofel también está con los que conspiraron con Absalón. Entonces dijo David: Enloquece ahora, oh SEÑOR, el consejo de Ahitofel.
