Deuteronomio 26:6 Meaning and Commentary

Deuteronomy 26:6

And the Egyptians evil entreated us
Ordered their male children to be killed by the midwives, and by another edict to be drowned by the people:

and afflicted us;
by setting taskmasters over them, who put heavy burdens upon them:

and laid upon us hard bondage;
in mortar and brick, and all manner of field service, in which they made them serve with rigour, and whereby their lives were made bitter; see ( Exodus 1:9-22 ) .

4 Y el sacerdote tomar谩 el canastillo de tu mano, y lo pondr谩 delante del altar del SE脩OR tu Dios.
5 Entonces hablar谩s y dir谩s delante del SE脩OR tu Dios: Mi padre, el Siro, pereciendo de hambre descendi贸 a Egipto y peregrin贸 all谩 con pocos hombres, y all铆 creci贸 en gente grande, fuerte y numerosa;
6 y los egipcios nos maltrataron, y nos afligieron, y pusieron sobre nosotros dura servidumbre.
7 Y clamamos al SE脩OR Dios de nuestros padres; y el SE脩OR oy贸 nuestra voz, y vio nuestra aflicci贸n, y nuestro trabajo, y nuestra opresi贸n.
8 Y nos sac贸 el SE脩OR de Egipto con mano fuerte, y con brazo extendido, y con grande espanto, y con se帽ales y con milagros;
