16 Pero cuando lleg贸 a ser fuerte, su coraz贸n se hizo tan orgulloso que obr贸 corruptamente, y fue infiel al SE脩OR su Dios, pues entr贸 al templo del SE脩OR para quemar incienso sobre el altar del incienso.
17 Entonces el sacerdote Azar铆as entr贸 tras 茅l, y con 茅l ochenta sacerdotes del SE脩OR, hombres valientes,
18 y se opusieron al rey Uz铆as, y le dijeron: No te corresponde a ti, Uz铆as, quemar incienso al SE脩OR, sino a los sacerdotes, hijos de Aar贸n, que son consagrados para quemar incienso. Sal del santuario, porque has sido infiel y no recibir谩s honra del SE脩OR Dios.
19 Pero Uz铆as, con un incensario en su mano para quemar incienso, se llen贸 de ira; y mientras estaba airado contra los sacerdotes, la lepra le brot贸 en la frente, delante de los sacerdotes en la casa del SE脩OR, junto al altar del incienso.
20 Y el sumo sacerdote Azar铆as y todos los sacerdotes lo miraron, y he aqu铆, ten铆a lepra en la frente; y le hicieron salir de all铆 a toda prisa, y tambi茅n 茅l mismo se apresur贸 a salir, porque el SE脩OR lo hab铆a herido.
21 Y el rey Uz铆as qued贸 leproso hasta el d铆a de su muerte, y habit贸 en una casa separada, ya que era leproso, porque fue excluido de la casa del SE脩OR. Y su hijo Jotam estaba al frente de la casa del rey gobernando al pueblo de la tierra.

This chapter relates the good reign of Uzziah, 2Ch 26:1-5, his wars and victories, his buildings, the number of his soldiers, and his military stores, 2Ch 26:6-15, his invasion of the priest's office, in attempting to offer incense, for which he was smitten with a leprosy, which continued to his death, 2Ch 26:16-23.
