1 Kings 22:1

And they continued three years without war between Syria
and Israel.
] From the time that Benhadad made a covenant with Ahab; not three full years, but part of them: it was threatened by Elijah from the Lord, that Ahab's life should go for Benhadad's, because he had let him, go, ( 1 Kings 22:42 ) , but because of his humiliation, as is thought by Ben Gersom and others, it was respited for those three years; and now an opportunity and occasion would be given for the fulfilment of what was threatened.

2 Dào dì sān nián , Yóudà wáng Yuēshāfǎ xià qù jiànYǐsèliè wáng.

3 Yǐsèliè wáng duì chénpú shuō , nǐmen bù zhīdào Jīliè de là mò shì shǔ wǒmen de ma . wǒmen qǐ kĕ jìng zuò bù dòng , bù cóng Yàlán wáng shǒu lǐ duó huí lái ma .

4 Yà hā wèn Yuēshāfǎ shuō , nǐ kĕn tóng wǒ qù gōng qǔ Jīliè de là mò ma . Yuēshāfǎ duì Yǐsèliè wáng shuō , nǐ wǒ bù fēn bǐcǐ , wǒde mín yǔ nǐde mín yíyàng , wǒde mǎ yǔ nǐde mǎ yíyàng .

5 Yuēshāfǎ duì Yǐsèliè wáng shuō , qǐng nǐ xiān qiú wèn Yēhéhuá .
