Depois o rei se dirigiu para o seu palácio, e passou a noite em jejum; e não foram trazidos � sua presença instrumentos de música, e fugiu dele o sono.

(H6:19) Darauf ging der König in seinen Palast, und er übernachtete fastend und ließ keine Kebsweiber zu sich hereinführen; und sein Schlaf floh von ihm.

Le roi se rendit ensuite dans son palais; il passa la nuit à jeun, il ne fit point venir de concubine auprès de lui, et il ne put se livrer au sommeil.

And the king departed to his house, and lay down fasting, and they brought him no food; and his sleep departed from him. But God shut the mouths of the lions, and they not molest Daniel.

The king returned to his palace. He didn't eat anything that night. He didn't ask for anything to be brought to him for his enjoyment. And he couldn't sleep.

And the king went away to his house, and laid himself down without taking supper, and meat was not set before him, and even sleep departed from him.

En er werd een steen gebracht, en op den mond des kuils gelegd: en de koning verzegelde denzelven met zijn ring, en met den ring zijner geweldigen, opdat de wil aangaande Daniel niet zou veranderd worden.

Then the king went into his house, and slept without supper, and meats were not brought before him; furthermore and sleep went away from him. (Then the king went back to his palace, and went to bed without any supper, yea, no food was brought before him; but all sleep went away from him.)

Then hath the king gone to his palace, and he hath passed the night fasting, and dahavan have not been brought up before him, and his sleep hath fled [from] off him.
