Ezra 8:15-36 NIV

The Return to Jerusalem

15 I assembled them at the canal that flows toward Ahava,1 and we camped there three days. When I checked among the people and the priests, I found no Levites2 there.

                          31 On the twelfth day of the first month we set out from the Ahava Canal16 to go to Jerusalem. The hand of our God was on us,17 and he protected us from enemies and bandits along the way.
