Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know , and testify that we have seen ; and ye receive not our witness.
Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?

That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled , which he spake , Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed ?
The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die , because he made himself the Son of God.
