And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
And Jesus said unto them , Can the children of the bridechamber fast , while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast .
And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand .
And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand .
And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided , he cannot stand , but hath an end.
And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended .
And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying , and cutting himself with stones.
And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered , but rather grew worse ,
And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said , Who touched my clothes?
Send them away , that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat .
And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased : and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered .
Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean .
And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way?
Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.
And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves , Who then can be saved ?
And they reasoned with themselves, saying , If we shall say , From heaven; he will say , Why then did ye not believe him?
But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come , let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten : and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said , Why was this waste of the ointment made ?
For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.
And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed , and to be very heavy ;
Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save .
And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
