1Finally,mybrethren,rejoicein the Lord. To write the same things to you, to meindeed is notgrievous, but for you it is safe.2Beware of dogs, beware of evilworkers, beware of the concision.3Forweare the circumcision, whichworshipGod in the spirit, andrejoiceinChristJesus, andhavenoconfidencein the flesh.4ThoughImightalsohaveconfidencein the flesh. If any other manthinketh that he hath whereof he might trustin the flesh,Imore:5Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrewof the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;6Concerningzeal,persecuting the church;touching the righteousnesswhich is in the law , blameless.7But what thingsweregain to me,those I countedlossforChrist.8Yeadoubtless,and I count all things but lossfor the excellency of the knowledge of ChristJesusmyLord:forwhom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do countthem but dung, that I may winChrist,9And be foundinhim, nothaving mine ownrighteousness, which is of the law,but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousnesswhich is ofGodbyfaith:10
That I may knowhim, and the power of hisresurrection, and the fellowship of hissufferings, being made conformable unto hisdeath;11
If by any means I might attainunto the resurrection of the dead.12Not as though I had alreadyattained , either were alreadyperfect : but I follow after , if that I may apprehend that forwhichalso I am apprehendedofChristJesus.13Brethren,Icountnotmyself to have apprehended : but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,14
I presstoward the markfor the prize of the highcalling of GodinChristJesus.15Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, bethusminded : and if in any thing ye beotherwiseminded , God shall revealeventhis unto you.16Nevertheless,wheretowe have already attained , let us walk by the samerule, let us mind the same thing.17Brethren,be followers together of me,andmark them which walksoas ye haveus for an ensample.18
(For manywalk , of whom I have toldyouoften, andnowtell you evenweeping , that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:19Whoseend is destruction, whoseGod is their belly, and whose glory is intheirshame, whomind earthly things.)
20Forourconversationaisinheaven;fromwhencealso we look for the Saviour, the LordJesusChrist:21Who shall changeourvilebody, thatit may be fashioned like untohisgloriousbody, according to the working whereby he is ableeven to subdue all things unto himself.
