1Therefore being justifiedbyfaith, we havepeacewithGodthroughourLordJesusChrist:2Bywhomalso we haveaccess by faithintothisgracewhereinwestand , andrejoiceinhope of the glory of God.3Andnotonly so, but we gloryintribulationsalso:knowingthattribulationworkethpatience;4Andpatience,experience;andexperience,hope:5Andhopemakethnotashamed ; because the love of God is shed abroadinourheartsby the HolyGhostwhich is given unto us.6For when wewereyet without strength, in duetimeaChristdiedfor the ungodly.7Forscarcelyfor a righteous manwillonedie : yetperadventurefor a good mansomewouldevendare to die .
8ButGodcommendethhislovetowardus, in that, while wewereyetsinners,Christdiedforus.9Muchmorethen,beingnowjustifiedbyhisblood, we shall be savedfromwraththroughhim.10Forif, when we wereenemies, we were reconciled to Godby the death of hisSon,muchmore, being reconciled , we shall be savedbyhislife.11Andnotonly so, but we alsojoyinGodthroughourLordJesusChrist, bywhom we havenowreceived the atonement.b12Wherefore , asbyonemansinenteredinto the world, anddeathbysin;andsodeathpasseduponallmen, forthatcall have sinned :
(For until the lawsinwasin the world:butsinisnotimputed when there isnolaw.14NeverthelessdeathreignedfromAdamtoMoses,evenover them that hadnotsinnedafter the similitude of Adam'stransgression, whois the figure of him that was to come .
15Butnotas the offence, soalso is the free gift.Forif through the offence of onemany be dead , muchmore the grace of God,and the giftbygrace, which is by oneman,JesusChrist, hath aboundeduntomany.16Andnotas it was byone that sinned , so is the gift:forthejudgment was byonetocondemnation, but the free gift is ofmanyoffences untojustification.17Forif by one man'sdoffencedeathreignedbyone;muchmore they which receiveabundance of graceand of the gift of righteousness shall reigninlifebyone,Jesus Christ.)
18Thereforeasby the offencee of one judgment came uponallmentocondemnation;evensoby the righteousness of one the free gift came uponallmen untojustification of life.19Forasbyoneman'sdisobediencemany were madesinners, soby the obedience of oneshallmany be maderighteous.20Moreover the lawentered , that the offence might abound . Butwheresinabounded , grace did much more abound :
