"And I will grant authority to my two1witnesses, and they will prophesy for 2twelvehundred and sixtydays, clothed in 3sackcloth."
4These are the 4twoolivetrees and the twolampstands that standbefore the Lord of the earth.

And ifanyonewants to harm them, 5fireflows out of their mouth and devours their enemies ; soifanyonewants to harm them, 6he must be killed in thisway.
6Thesehave the power to 7shut up the sky, so that rain will not fall during 8the days of their prophesying ; and they havepowerover the waters to 9turn them into blood, and 10to strike the earth with everyplague, as often as they desire.
7When they have finished their testimony, 11the beast that comes up out of the 12abyss will 13makewar with them, and overcome them and kill them.

And their deadbodies will lie in the street of the 14greatcitywhichamystically is called15Sodom and 16Egypt, wherealso their Lord was crucified.

Those from 17the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their deadbbodies for three and a halfdays, and c18will not permit their deadbodies to be laid in a tomb.

And 19those who dwell on the earth will rejoiceover them and celebrate ; and they will 20sendgifts to oneanother, becausethesetwoprophetstormented21those who dwell on the earth.

But after the three and a halfdays, 22the breath of life from Godcame into them, and they stood on their feet ; and greatfearfell upon those who were watching them.

And they heard a loudvoice from heavensaying to them, "23Come up here." Then they 24went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemieswatched them.

And in that hour there was a great25earthquake, and a tenth of the cityfell ; dseventhousandpeople were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and 26gaveglory to the 27God of heaven.
