But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you 1regard your brother with contempt? For 2we will allstandbefore the judgmentseat of God.
For it is written, "3AS I LIVE, SAYS THE LORD, 4EVERYKNEE SHALL BOW TO ME, AND EVERYTONGUE SHALL aGIVEPRAISE TO GOD."
12Sothen5eachone of us will give an account of himself to God.
13Therefore let us not 6judgeoneanotheranymore, but ratherdeterminethis -7not to put an obstacleor a stumblingblock in a brother's way.
I know and am convincedbin the LordJesus that 8nothing is unclean in itself; but to him who 9thinksanything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
For ifbecause of food your brother is hurt, you are nolonger10walkingaccording to love. 11Do not destroy with your food him for whomChristdied.
16Therefore12do not let what is for you a goodthing be cspoken of as evil;
for the kingdom of God13is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and 14peace and 15joy in the HolySpirit.
For he who in this way 16servesChrist is 17acceptable to God and approved by men.
19Sothendwe 18pursue the things which make for peace and the 19building up of oneanother.
2020Do not teardown the work of God for the sake of food. 21Allthingsindeed are clean, but 22they are evil for the man who eatseand givesoffense.
