and He saw also a certain poor widow casting therein two mites. 2 He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.
And He said, "In truth I say unto you that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all. 3 "I tell you the truth," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others.

And when some spoke of the temple and how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, He said, 5 Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said,
"As for these things which ye behold, the days will come in which there shall not be left one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down." 6 "As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down."
And they asked Him, saying, "Master, but when shall these things be? And what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?" 7 "Teacher," they asked, "when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?"
And He said, "Take heed that ye be not deceived, for many shall come in My name, saying, `I am Christ,' and, `the time draweth near.' Go ye not therefore after them. 8 He replied: "Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am he,' and, 'The time is near.' Do not follow them.
But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified, for these things must first come to pass. But the end is not at once." 9 When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away."

But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and into prisons, and you will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake. 12 "But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.
And it shall turn to you to bear testimony. 13 This will result in your being witnesses to them.
Settle it therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand what ye shall answer. 14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
And ye shall be betrayed both by parents and brethren and kinsfolk and friends, and some of you they shall cause to be put to death. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death.
And ye shall be hated by all men for My name's sake. 17 All men will hate you because of me.
But there shall not a hair of your head perish. 18 But not a hair of your head will perish.
In your patience possess ye your souls. 19 By standing firm you will gain life.
"And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 20 "When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.
Then let them that are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let them that are in the midst of it depart out, and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.
For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 22 For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.
But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! For there shall be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.
And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
"And there shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars; and upon the earth distress among nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring. 25 "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.
Men's hearts will fail them for fear and for looking upon those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 26 Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
And then shall they see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draweth nigh." 28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. 30 When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.
So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the Kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 31 Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.
Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. 32 "I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
"And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness and cares of this life, and so that Day come upon you unawares. 34 "Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.
For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 35 For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth.
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man." 36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."
